Bruce McBruce : The Farsite Construction Co. has sent Mr. McBruce to the Dauzet home, shortly after the death of Tarvyd, in the hopes that the family will sell their home for the new development they are working on.

The Inspector is shocked to find that Lorelei will not entertain the idea and wants nothing more to do with the subject.

Mr. McBruce, a lumpy, ill-arranged man still living with his overbearing mother, will not take "No" for an answer. He engages Waylon in a series of intrigues to try to devastate the property in the hopes of an eviction.
